You surprise me.

I lived in Germany until the late 1980s. I never flew to Berlin, but family and friends did on a regular basis, and the height restriction in the three corridors was... well, just common knowledge!

I've done some research since reading your post, and found plenty of sources (in German) saying that flights from West Germany to West Berlin did not go above FL 100.

It's what I remember... it's what many other people seem to remember.
