There is only one IC, as mentioned above. You might want to stay at more than one place. The Crowne Plaza Beverly Hills costs more than a HI, but is not any better. The CP Commerce is a casino if you're into that sort of thing, but I didn't return because I'm allergic to cigarette smoke. Like most of the USA, Holiday Inns are not so great but the HIX's are up to standard. The one exception of which I am aware is the Holiday Inn City Center, where I have stayed when visiting the Staples Center (walking distance).

I'd like to recommend to legendary Pink's Hot Dogs (which has more than hot dogs) on La Brea.
