Hi baglady,

I have been told by my friend at the airline that there are still some confusions on the handling of "carryon liquid medicines" as the new policy has just been introduced, but he said he has heard that any passengers requires "carryon liquid medicines" will now have to hand them to airport security screening staff and the security staff will pass those to the cabin crew instead of allowing you to carry them yourself. Also, "carryon liquid medicines" must either be prescribed or with some sort of medical evidence indicating that you really require them during the flight etc (BUT HE IS NOT SURE IF THIS IS THE CORRECT PROCEDURE).
