From what I can see right now, there will be no possibility any more to walk to/from the terminal of my connecting flight to/from NUE to 2C/D/E/F any more, just a landside bus, right? If so, this is seriously going to affect the time needed for a connection... and not positively so... :-(
In the initial 2002 plan (slide 39), there was a planned extension of the landside VAL line to what has now become 2G (initially called S3N and located further to the North). Unfortunately, this plan seems to have been shelved. On the other hand, the landside bus to/from 2G hopefully wiil not take longer than the bus between 2D or 2F1 and the remote stand.
