In the specific case of the JAL 747 first class Skysleeper Solo, there is 1 bassinet position. In the nose closet, between the two 1st row seats. Which means that a passenger travelling solo and choosing one of the 1st row seat could well find a stranger parent in the other 1st row seat and the baby between them.
