I'm not willing to drive UP to Bellingham, though.

My options when I fly out of SEA usually are...

- direct: Alaska, Southwest (it's Greyhound on planes, but it gets you there) and US Air (which I dislike much more than America West- the planes are dirtier and the service is worse).

In a couple of weeks, I'm going to fly down LAS-SEA on Southwest, back through SFO on Virgin America- because the prices were considerably cheaper doing it this way. However, a lot of the time, I'm finding Alaska DOES have the cheapest fares, even running against Southwest.
