As I understand, UA will guarantee the price AND hold seats until midnight the day of booking, but only hold seats till the following midnight, letting the price float.

I called UA reservations last night to have an itinerary held for me, and was told that the policy is changing "for the better". I didn't ask her what that meant.

Anyone know what the change is?

BTW, I called at 2.30am Eastern thinking I would get someone in Chicago. Instead, I got someone in Denver, who said the price would only hold for 30min. I didn't have the patience to call back and have it re-booked.
