I know the GM of a hotel in Bahrain, and I can tell you that if you know this man, when you are there, you do get special treatment.

They say in life it's not what you know but who you know -it's human nature to help out your colleagues/friends, and it's not really hurting anyone (ok maybe costs BA £10 if that, I can deal with it).
The problem however is that EX BA staff are now being allowed to use the lounge facilities at GLA we are told by our friend xxxxx

We are talking about staff who were made redundant by BA last June/July.
