For example,for you corporate communications might be email. But If I was say a TV news producer ( I am not), seeing a video clip of a potential story might be equally important as a text email.

I see people in various PCs hogging a lot more bandwidth than me. And for the record, I wasn't using video for anything remotely entertainment-related. If WiFi is provided, I would expect to be able to access basic streaming video. Even free WiFi in my local small coffee shop has better functionality.
Wendyhamburger, kennynbabes, etc. - I'm waiting for you to remark on what kind of entertainment and video I was watching!
