You have probably already figured out that although the Yamanote Loop does not pass through Asakusa, both the Asakusa and Ginza subway lines do. You can get virtually anywhere using one or the other. At the most, you may need to change once - for example from the Asakusa to the Oedo line at Kuramae to get to Ryogoku for the Edo-Tokyo Museum and the sumo arena.
