I think if you play with the Great Circle Mapper, you will find that you can not do AKL (Auckland is AKL, not AUK. AUK is in Alaska), SYD and PER from SEA for under 22k miles without having to buy an extra ticket.

What you can do, is to go SEA-LAX-AKL-SYD. Then buy a one way ticket SYD-PER (about AUD260-280 for QF or DJ) and then continue your Circle Pacific PER-SIN-SEA.

This route comes to 21347 miles or so.

The same would work from YVR as well.
