Interestingly enough the gate agent did not fill in the destination airport and since I knew that the flight continued on from my destination airport, I personally took the time to fill it in with the proper airport code. I got my bag so I am glad I took the precaution.
Good catch, that way there was a much better chance you'd get it at your destination.
I wonder if they offload all the green tagged bags and reload all those not picked up in a case like that.
