I am wondering about the reusing a green tag. They do have a number and a bar code, so I would think if I reused my IND-DCA tag on a SGF-MSP flight, wouldn't there be a problem because:
- If they have a record of where a batch of tags went, it would show up as a tag sent to IND.
- If they're scanned, since they do have a bar code, wouldn't that bar code show up as having flown NW 4788 IND-DCA on 07Dec07. This would just have some people puzzled if it also showed up as being scanned on NW4764 SGF-MSP on 10Mar08, but the scan would still show it was scanned for that flight. If, however, it was left sitting on the tarmac at SGF and not scanned, they could say sorry, that bag was on NW 4788 IND-DCA on 07Dec07 and not the one you claim.
