Worst turbulence I can remember was when I was 4 or 5 on a flight from London to Edinburgh (maybe British Caledonian, but definitely a 4 propellor job back then... and no, I'm not THAT old!)

I had a window seat and was obviously strapped in to keep me in order and it became a family "party story" that while many of the other passengers were using their paper bags or being thrown around and the crockery - they still had proper bone-china plates in these days - was hitting the roof, I was shouting "Wooooo, its all bouncy bouncy" and laughing my head off with glee. My parents later told me how embarrassing it was to get to Edinburgh and have medical personnel board the aircraft as people had been injured and I was excitedly saying in a loud voice how much fun it was riding in the nice bouncy aeroplane and could we go in it again soon.

Never had any nervousness with turbulence, in fact I think it breaks up the monotony of a flight - a little excitement.

I am interested to know whether you feel turbulence in a supersonic aircraft. I wish I'd had the chance to fly Concorde.
