Abstract,
I'm not a big fan of turbulence either after a really rowdy flight into MEM in a thunderstorm that spawned a tornado. Found a site that helps me gauge an upcoming flight -
www.turbulenceforecast.com. Has up to the minute pilot reports of turbulence (including their strength) weather with radar top returns, and aviation forecast tables specifically for turbulence.
The information is up to date, and has helped me to know what I'm getting into on any given flight.
