I was in Madrid last weekend. Hung out in the Chueca a lot. A really cool bear bar is HOT on Calle Infanta (It is featured in the movie Cachorro/Bearcub)

What are you going to do in Madrid. The Reina Sofia, Prado and Thyssen-Borimeza are all cool museums. Madrid is a great city to wander round on foot. Also the Rastro flea market on Sunday is pretty cool.
