Did I not say in my previous post: There are times where a corporation has a project or convention where it requires hotel nights the same corp code will pull up those special event rates which vary by property.

No I do not work as a consultant, although my company has at times hired some. They are given an introduction letter to present upon check-in or we contact the hotel directly.

As I said before I don't take issue with individuals who are legit in obtaining the rate in the first place.

Maybe Marriott should introduce a introduction letter policy across the board when it comes to people who can not produce company ID and claim to be consultants, contractors, cleaners, the electrician, copy and fax repair guy etc...
