I make one simple statement--Southwest is number one, not Delta and all hell breaks loose. Everyone is so quick to beat up a very successfully airline and throw out rose petals at their beloved Delta. It is not as if I am telling everyone to quit Delta and start flying Southwest. If Delta makes you whole then keep on flying with them. My intent for my first post on this thread was to disagree with calling Delta number One. I would post the same arguments if someone claimed that AA, NW, UA or US were number one and I am sure I would get the same wrath from loyal fliers to those airlines (maybe not so much from US airways). Delta does have some good points but it also has lots of faults that so many people on the Delta forum can't acknowledge through their rose colored glasses.
