Oh this was definitely the case, although the reason for the person's (I forget the name by name) beef with my having worked for/left Marriott is yet to be known as I had never had contact with that person a day in my life. Also, when I contacted Customer Care and Marriott Rewards, neither had any record of correspondance between their offices and the hotels, yet the individual properties seemed to know my entire work history, of my so-called "rate code abuse", and exactly what properties I had used the rate at (admittedly the last could in theory be pulled up through MARSHA by the individual properties, but I find that it would be too time consuming for a property to even care) and when I inquired as to how and why they knew this information, I was informed (specifically at the Dayton Marriott) that they had been contacted by Marriott Rewards and informed of such (again go back to my correspondance with MR regarding the situation).
