Hopefully you don't travel much while billing a company that you don't work for. That is simply one of the dumbest questions I've heard.

I have no idea how they are negoitated. But I do know that I'll use any companys rate/code if I'm working with that company during the stay.

I'll do it until someone from Marriott contacts me and tells me not to.
