The FA on my first flight with the new business class (roughly one and a half weeks ago) told me that the headsets cannot be unplugged. If I try, I would destroy the system. The purser came a few minutes later, apologized for the inconvenience and told me the same story. Btw, the foam for the earpieces didn't want to stay on the LH headset.
