I'm open to suggestions for good (non-turist trap) eateries around Columbia U. and its environs. This would preferably be north of 72nd and on the west side. Any cuisine is acceptable, providing the food is really good, and the place should be suitable for handling a gathering of perhaps a dozen old friends who have not seen the others in many years. Therefore, a place that does not try hustle the diners in order to turn the tables quickly. I should expect we will linger over drinks, dessert, coffee and perhaps, more drinks.
