While we're pointing out other options, I'll note that the new W Midtown is going to open pretty soon. It is a complete refurbishment of the Sheraton Colony Square: gutted down to the beams, everything changing except the physical structure of the building. Obviously, no info on what the rooms will be like or whether it will capture the vibe other W properties have. It's a block and a half from the FS.
