Besides shopping, the Ritz Carlton is within walking distance to a host of new restaurants in Buckhead, in the Terminus Building (MF Sushi, Lola (very hip), AquaKnox, etc.). The bar at the Ritz Carlton has a different vibe every weekend (some good, some not so good). Not sure when you are planning your trip for, but the Mansion on Peachtree will be opening in May 2008) and the rooms look gorgeous from the website (MansiononPeachtree.com). It is less than a block from the Ritz-Carlton. Rosewood Hotels will be managing the property (Carlyle New York, Mansion on Turtle Creek Dallas, Crescent COurt, Dallas,etc.). Four Seasons restaurant is excellent, but not the caliber of the Dining Room at the RC. If you are looking for nightlife, Four Seasons will be your best bet (Trois is right across the street also).
