Nothing lasts forever. The current imbalance between the Euro and the Dollar will change. It always has, and it probably always will.
If I were a European, I'd use my 6 weeks vacation this summer to visit the States. It will probably never get better.
We also have only 5 weeks vacation in Austria and yes, I will spend more days now to visit the States than years before.
