Well this Priority Waitlist question is about UA!!

We are using the 100K award for First from LHR to HNL in Sept.We are on the Priority Waitlist for some sectors and we wondered if it also clears on status as other awards.

Our trip is LHR to SFO Conf 1st on 9.00am flight and Coach SFO to HNL at 4.30pm. We are Priority Waitlisted for 2.45pm LHR to HNL with a much shorter connection and wondered if there was a chance of this clearing? We are both Premiers!!

Return is OK as we are Conf 1st KOA to LAX and confimed in Business LAX to LHR and on the list for 1st.

Ps What happens if some of the sectors don't clear- Do you get a refund of some of the miles??
