Facial recognition systems are being deployed in public venues as we type. How is the fingerprint system any different?

It is stupid and pointless like most airport "security" these days, but I'm at my traveling peak and have too many places I want to visit before I die to let the bureaucracy get in the way.
Simply put, it's none of their business who travels and I don't trust them w/my personal information or biometrics.

I disagree with deploying facial recognition systems too. I abhorr the "surveilance society" we are evolving into under the disgusting pretenses of "security".
