And the second vote failed on Jan. 11. And I'm pretty confident that everything you mentioned in your post was known at that time, and used as evidence to justify a forum.

Don't get me wrong, I'm well on record as strongly supporting a VS forum, and disagree with the TalkBoard's decisions. But while this may be new to you, everything you are mentioning was known and discussed at the time of the last vote. (I think the only thing new is the 5x dollar multiple for points, and the fact you can see your point totals online -- not that you can do anything with them.)

More than one of the TB members voting against it have indicated that something needs to change, namely an actual launch of the FF program, before they'll reconsider. In my mind, we wait until that happens and ask for the issue to be revisited then. To just keep bringing it up every-other-month, without any substantive developments, only adds miles to this marathon.
