I had once in Zurich and once in Milan.
The suitcase should fit without problem. Be aware of the Milan station cheatin people. I gave the car back, was told that every thing is ok. I did therefore not check the form. The bad surprise came with the credit card statement: I was charged by Sixt Milan for cleaning, for gas and for extra fees. Of course, I did brought the car back in a clean manner and the gas was filled-up.
Be careful if you want to rent from Sixt Italy!
Don't worry if you want to rent from Sixt Switzerland, Germany or Austria ^
