Every now and then I get a cookie, sometimes I might get a sundae, once in a blue moon I'll get a sip or two of water before takeoff, now and then an offer to refill my drink. The service on AA is so spotty that I have actually fallen into the trap of "don't expect anything so that way you won't be disappointed".

But last week, for the first time EVER, they did not pass hot towels. Is this the start of another trend perhaps???
