It might be stupid but i need to carry a 22" LCD inside the checked baggage from US. I have the following questions

1) is it allowable to carry LCD in checked baggage?
2) does it create any problem during check in?
3) what's the probability of getting damaged? the LCD is in its original packaging plus it will be inside a Samsonite hard shell luggage.


Let me know if anybody here has any earlier experience carrying such an item as checked baggage.
