while CDG connections are not the most convenient if u get bussed from plane to terminal, i have found AF customer service for short connections very impressive. Also, lately, more and more airplane in CDG have been parked at jetway gates, so no busses.

if u have a tight connection and it looks like u may miss the flight thru normal transfer channels, AF actually has an agent waiting at the gate with a sign that has your name or ur flight connection on it. they will escort u with VIP treatment thru security, or even take u in a private car from 1 terminal to the other to speed things up. impressive indeed how they keep track of connections and help pax. ur bags, another story, i agree pack 1 or 3 nights info ur carryone, just in case ur bags dont make it (most likely they wont with short connection) or if u had to spend the noght in Paris, where AF will get u a hotel.
