Most hotels in the Orchard Road belt have been around for at least 20 years, like Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, Meridien and Mandarin. The only new hotel in the area is the St Regis.

The renovated room at Hyatt is,however, very nice, comfortable and in a good location. The food at the hotel is also pretty good, esp. lunch.
