And you get a much better grip on turbulence. As the - say UA's - F cabin is in front of the cockpit, you are ensured maximum amplification of any longitudinal oscillation of the bird. And while I sleep like a toddler on rohypnol in the UD, UA's F makes sure I don't miss any important weather 'update'. I hang in my seat belt like the Hindenburg in it's ropes during a tempest.
..You also aren't looking forward at the door to the cockpit and a set of toilets as you are in the UD..
If you don't plot on concocting evil stuff aboard why would you stare at the toilets and the cockpit door? As soon as the seat is mildly reclined, I stare at the ceiling the IFE, or at my brown yellowish food.
