This is indeed the situation with most flights on United these days.
Flew SMF - SFO - MHT last weekend -- booked solid all 4 legs.
The week before -- SMF - DEN - BOS -- all booked solid.
All of the flight attendants agree -- the flights lately have been going out very full.
For us 1Ks that are used to being "protected" -- if the other flights are
full, they can't do much protecting :-(
