reasonable conpensation 3 hour delay

This morning a LAX to SFO flight was canceled for mechancal reasons. I had to wait three hours for the next available flight. What is reasonable compensation, if any, for the inconvenience? I had to cancel one business meeting because of the delay. Thanks
