Welcome to FlyerTalk,

Actually, there are three lounges at DFW, all of them Admirals Clubs - no First Class / Flagship Lounges. I can only speculate AA chose to not invest in a Flagship Lounge precisely because "DFW is AA's main airport" - they have a "lock" on DFW, whereas they have lots of competition for premium international traffic at LAX, ORD and JFK (and LHR, but then again, that's a less than spectacular lounge at the moment.)
N.B. Those with appropriate
oneworld status and flights should receive
two drink chits, and in most cases can get more.

The 'free' food on offer were some cookies and apples. Later a single tray of crackers and cubes of cheese turned up - wow!!! This was disappeared quickly. You had to queue up for drinks (soft free or a stronger drink for the single chit you got). There was a menu if wanted to PAY for food.
Compare this to the BA first class lounge at LGW!!! Any drink you like, soup, sandwiches, bacon butties and lots more......
I thought that DFW was AA's main airport - why such a poor show on the lougne front?
