I am looking to get into the travel industry, in other words to become a certified travel agent. I have a question and I continue to get conflicting reports on this. Here it is: I have heard that anybody (consumers) can subscribe to a GDS system (i/e Sabre), but just not be able to ticket. Although, they can have the system on their desktop. Is this true? I would think that only travel agents would be elgible for access to these systems. I meant GDS, sorry, not GDA
