Quite. EB Jnr was ok in the Skycot until about 10 months, when we moved to the Britax seat. Once she was about 14 months we resorted to buying her her own seat, something that the OP may wish to consider on a flight to DXB. Shorthaul isn't too bad (anything less than 2 hours and she travels on our laps) but longer than this she gets her owns eat and we get an easier flight ^
