As an AC*A, with relatively few points, I received several mailings advising me that the points were set to expire. If the realtor chose to toss out those mailings because she thought they were SPAM, unfortunately that's the consequence.
Reality is though that we get so much spam from AC/AE that it's not hard to end up with a filter that trashes such warnings.
E-mail is only effective if (1) there is relatively frequent communication, and (2) the bulk of it is legitimate.
(As I am set up, I get legitimate e-mail at one address and spam from AC at another. Works fine for me. But what can you expect from a silly realtor?)
