I am in total agreement that a few reminders would be nice. I have no idea how aeroplan reminds people of soon to expire accounts but agree that once is not enough. That being said, I am surprised that someone so keen on collecting that many points just stopped accumulating them totally for an entire year. Not one point collected on a credit card purchase, a gas fill-up or hotel. No need to fly to accumulate. Not sure what she did to accumulate the first 150,000 ae miles but it just seems odd.
