I've had a search through the forum, but couldn't find a definitive answer, so was wondering if someone may be able to help please?

We are considering travelling to Mauritius from Newcastle next year, by which point we should have a 16/17 month old! The two obvious options are BA and Emirates. BA would seem a more desirable option due to the Britax infant seats - but I was wondering do you still have to have buy a seat for the infant (as I read this on the Thorntree forum) to get one of these seats? Also I know they are subject to availability - if so would we have more chance of getting one if we went WT+?
