United canceled our flight out of IAD, so put us on a US one out of DCA. Without a car parked at IAD, I wanted to return to DCA, not to IAD, and that is what we did. Now, I see that while we were in Y on both the outbound and return flights, I received 150% EQM on the former and only 100% on the latter? Was the extra measure of EQM with the former incorrect, while the usual amount with the latter was correct? (It may have happened this way because the outbound miles posted to my account immediately, while I had to contact MP to get credit for the return, and that may have occasioned greater scrutiny of the return EQM.)

All of no great consequence, though always like to get every last drop of EQM. Just thought to add my experience to that of others about rebooking in Y, since it did not arise from a VDB, it involved another carrier, and there was the outbound vs return discrepancy. And no, I'm not going to demand that MP take back the extra EQM, especially since I am really angry about not getting the full measure of RDM and EQM when UA rerouted me because of their screw up.
