Remember when flying the skies was a gourmet experience?

When I say that it used to be fun to fly you might guess that I'm about to complain about all the security you have to go through. I'm not. That is something we have to get accustomed to and accept. However, there is no reason that things should be different once you've cleared security and gotten on the plane.
Of course, before that, if you check bags at curbside, you have to wonder if the $2-a-bag fee is for the skycap or the airline. The skycap informs you that it is a little something extra for the airline and not for him. The decision is tip him generously, bringing the fee to $4, stiff him with the attitude of let the airline take care of him, or go inside. I have noticed that most people go inside.
