Last year, I did SEA-PHX-SEA. I chose my AS FF no. for the outbound (to get 1st time web purchase, ITM booking and other bonus) and my AA no. for the inbound for the 20/20 promo. AS's ITM check-in allows you to choose which FFP you want to put each flight for. Both flights posted to the AS account despite what the BPs said.

I called up AS MP about it and a few days later, I got miles for both flights on both account.


Before that, there were a few legal and promoted double dips.

When QQ launched its FFP, you were allowed to double dip into that FFP and AAdvantage.

You could also legally double dip for US Shuttle flights in the US and AA FFPs in 2000.
