Hi,I had the 14.45 departure from DXB.But the connecting flight from LGW to DFW[Dallas] on American was canceled,so they put me on the next flight which was 12 hrs late and I had to stay in London.But since the ticket was issued by Emirates,they re-scheduled the whole thing and so instead of staying in London, I got to stay over in DXB.So,I guess it was an inter airline understanding between them.And yes,I think American owes a compensation.I think I will call Emirates again and see if I can get a hotel voucher,or else I am planning to stay at the Marhaba Lounge at DXB airport.
