Was at the Royal Haciendas in Playa in December and beach was fantastic. Also spent some time in Cancun and found beach at the Royal Sands had been impacted by the storms and rebuilding. Where there was little rock showing, the sand was not as fine as in the past and in the water there were more rocks and other sharp objects including shells and shell fragments.
