Who's schedule change created the problem? AF or DL?
My experience was with a KL AF ticket booked with NW miles. I know that KL and NW have a special relationship, but they were still able to work some magic and put us on PrivatAir to AMS. The onus is on the airline to accomodate you when it is a schedule change problem and PerkSaver availability has absolutely nothing to do with it. (edit: within reason - meaning on another carrier in same class of service, but it isn't a free pass to get dates changed, etc.)
