I have to make my comments about Ryanair...

Many will have awful stories of cancelled flights, check in hassles etc but I have done about 7 or 8 returns on Ryanair. Mostly at £40 or less return and a few for 1p each way!

I have always had pleasant flights with them as long as you try to follow the following rules...

1. Only take carry on luggage and make sure it is within dimensions and within weight allowance.
2. Pay for the Online Check In and Priority Boarding (£4 each way i think). Saves having to go to a check in queue and lets you board first.
3. When you board head stright down to the centre Fire Exit rows. There are 2 and I have always managed to get seats here as everyone tries to sit near the doors. This gives you extra legroom and makes it quite pleasant.
4. Take your sunglasses in case the yellow interior is to bright and headphones so you can't hear the over excited holiday makers!

Then again I just priced LTN-MLA for a return in July and it is £123 return! Maybe I could get up early for the BA flight...!
