BAD - The AVOD on the flight out was bust and not working so no films, I would have thought by now BA would have sorted this
UGLY - The flight back was awful, was looking forward to enjoying club in 62K. Well was greeted upstairs by the rudest cabin crew that I have ever come across, she had a right cob on all flight and barked at my traveling companions and every request was met with a sigh and surliness. I am wondering if this was due to the lack of CSD on the flight only an "Incharge Crew Member" - I have never not had a CSD out of Heathrow, is this usual.
I find it so frustrating that the service on BA is so inconsistent

My CE experience LGW-PRN a couple of weeks ago and PRN-LGW yesterday was consistently good, due almost entirely to the cheerful hard work of the Pursers on both flights.
I've flown with each of them (Andy?) and Debbie a number of times and it's evident that they both really enjoy their jobs, so much so that their enthusiasm rubs off onto the rest of the cabin crew, making for a very relaxing and enjoyable experience.
I've been trying to avoid BA ex-LGW to Europe recently due to poor in-flight service experience, so this was a pleasant reminder of what the CE experience should be.
And also thanks to Elife, BA Station Manager at PRN, and "her girls", who were, as always, delightful.
So well done and thank you to all.
Compliments noted on BA.com. ^^
P.S. A colleague who flew LGW-PRN during the week reported that the ex-LGW CE upgrade offer has now crept up to £60.
